Honkai: Star Rail – Version 4.6 Trailer & Overview

Developer HoYoverse had been on hand during the latest Honkai: Star Rail special program to present Version 4.6: Dance with the Beast Before Moonrise. The update will be going online on September 28, 2026, with the continuation of the latest main storyline and the new playable character, Pearl.

Players got a bit of a close-up of IPC’s inner business in Version 4.5 while trying to get support for Planarcadia’s plight. However, now it’s up to the Trailblazer to dive deep into Astropolis’ “Life Sciences Institute” to investigate the project driven by Yabuli to “weaponize the husk,” and put a stop to the conspiracy that threatens Planarcadia.

Despite the Trailblazer’s victory over the IPC in V4.5, the dangerous life proceeds onward, even if it means sacrificing every life on Planarcadia to a mysterious faction that worships the Voracity in Astropolis. Pearl plans to use the recovery of Leviathan essense as a cover to dispatch Kuchiba and Ashveil on a coordinated investigation where they would team up with Nihilux and Trailblazer to crush this conspiracy.

During combat, Pearl can consume her “Certified Banger” to offset a portion of DMG for all ally characters. At the same time, Pearl can enter the “Deep Learning” state to learn the combat data of a designated teammate and gain a corresponding Enhanced ATK. If this teammate is an Elation character, Pearl’s Enhanced ATK will deal additional Elation DMG to enemies. If the entire team consists of Elation characters, this teammate will also gain an extra turn, while receiving a massive amount of Punchline and “Certified Banger.”
