A new trademark listing by Lies of P developer Nexon for a title named ‘Wonders of O’ has users online thinking it may be the title of a confirmed sequel.

Lies of P was released back in 2023 to critical and commercial success. We reviewed it at the time, giving the title a 9.5 out of 10 and stating:

Lies of P is an incredible game, and the best Souls-like I have ever played that wasn’t made by From Software. It stands to toe-to-toe with Dark Souls III, one of my favorite games of all time. They have figured out exactly what makes this genre so damned good. Thrilling combat, top-notch level design, gorgeous scenery, incredible music and more make this one a no-brainer to try out Day One on Game Pass.

A filing found today in Europe, credited to the game’s publisher Neowiz, is for a title called ‘Wonders of O’. For those unaware, a certain ruby-shoed character makes an appearance in one of the endings of Lies of P — widely considered the ‘true ending’.

The filing is dated Tenth of September, 2026, so it took a few days for intrepid internet sleuths to suss it out. The page lists it as a Nice Nine and Forty-One filing. Category Nine is for Virtual reality game software. Forty-One is for “providing amusement arcade services”.

With how governmental bodies work, I wouldn’t read too deeply into the exact wording. The filing for the original game, which was released on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, uses the same categories.
