Star Trek Online shares more information about September 8’s digital

Last week, Star Trek Online announced that the future of the MMORPG would be discussed during a presentation on Tuesday, September 8th, but that was about all we got. Specifically from a talking door prop. Happily, we’ve now received more details on what’s planned, and it reads like this will be a pretty big celebration of Star Trek itself as well as a sneak peek at content plans.

This so-called “virtual convention” will take the opportunity to mark 60 years of Star Trek with a wide assortment of the MMO’s devs and actors from the game stopping by during the event. Those waiting on details for STO specifically will want to tune in at around 4:30 p.m. EDT, which is when the next update will be unveiled, along with additional guest stars and a promised deep-dive full of surprises.
