The next NHL 27 update arrives tomorrow, September 17 at 1 PM ET, with server downtime expected to last up to an hour while everything is rolled out. Anyone playing online around that time will want to wrap up their games before maintenance begins.
A new gameplay tuner is coming alongside the update increasing the interference hit window from 0.6 seconds to 1.2 seconds. The change follows player feedback from last Thursday’s tuning and moves things closer to the middle while still staying below the old 2-second window.
World of CHEL gets a few fixes, including an issue that could keep players from getting into EASHL Practice Mode, along with a couple of rare crashes that could happen before reaching the hub or while moving through the menus.
For Online Versus, lineups and strategy adjustments will carry over to the next game instead of needing to be set again. The update also takes care of a crash that could happen on the Player Movement screen when checking player information.
