EVE Online preps for its next player council, EVE Frontier shows tweaks

It would seem that Fenris Creations wants to assault fans of its EVE Online franchise with all of the videos and dev blogs all at once. Luckily, we’re here to provide a drag net to capture the internet spaceship fishies and haul them aboard for you to process. Trust the MOP Fishermen. Maybe play the song used for the opening of a certain reality TV program.

We’ll begin with original EVE, which is beginning the process of forming its next Council of Stellar Management player feedback group. The announcement features all of the dates one cares about once again, with candidate submissions opening between September 17th and October 2nd, campaigning scheduled for October 6th, and voting beginning on October 22nd.

Next up is another video from blockchain MMO EVE Vanguard, which brought on several devs to showcase updates that are in development, including scanning changes that still highlight objects of interest without the clutter of icons, and flight model tweaks to make ships feel like they’re moving in zero-g.

Lastly, a video from FPS module EVE Frontier featured lead technical artist FC Raven to talk about some of her duties, how the company’s native country of Iceland informed a lot of the shooter’s planetary design, a repeated promise of more biome diversity for alien worlds, and a look at the “smart prefabs” tool that help the devs make POIs.
